Our Inns are suited to events and gatherings of all kinds, from anniversaries to christenings, birthdays and baby showers, there are plenty of exciting excuses for a celebration, and Great British Inns provides the perfect environment to do so.

An array of options

With options ranging from Afternoon Tea for two through to Exclusive Use of the whole restaurant, we can guide you through the organisational stages and help put you in contact with the best of the regions suppliers, so that you can enjoy the planning just as much as the event.

Each of our inns, differentiates in areas available, but all have private spaces, with outdoor smoking areas and private garden areas. For more information and to view the spaces, please contact the site you are interested in and speak to the manager there to arrange a viewing and discuss options.

Every birthday is worth celebrating. These moments are special, so whether you want an understated celebration or an extravagant party with your friends and family, we will be delighted to help you plan and celebrate your special occasion.

We think birthdays should be fun and laughter filled. We think these parties should create family memories, and be your most important day of the year. Whether you want an intimate arrangement with a handful of friends, or a vibrant party for an extensive array of guests, our staff will work hard to give you a birthday party to remember.

Whether for a little one's special day, or for a bigger one’s landmark celebration, with a range of rooms to hold your party in, including our exclusive marquee, we can go through your ideas and create an occasion specifically for you.

We can get everything in place to ensure that the occasion has all the ingredients needed to make it as memorable as possible.

Weddings

The perfect wedding venue

Whether you are looking for an intimate wedding venue or your planning a large wedding celebration, here at Great British Inns you will find the perfect place for the wedding of your dreams. We can accommodate small weddings or larger gatherings up to 200.

We also offer beautiful bespoke Wedding designed and decorated to your individual requirements.

We are renowned for exceptional food produced by our Head Chefs and their team, dishes are created to the highest standards. Whatever the style of your wedding, we have a variety of different menus, whether you’re looking for the traditional (please see our wedding reception meal menus), a sit down carvery or something more informal like a hog roast or a barbecue.

Great British Inns Hospitality also works closely with a selection of highly recommended partners who can add those finishing touches to your special day. From florists, to musicians to DJ’s to cake makers to photographers, our Hospitality team are more than happy to provide information regarding them.

We promise a first-class attentive service and our dedicated Wedding Planner will be with you every step of the way.

Wakes

Wakes and Funeral receptions

If you've recently lost a loved one and would like a personal and intimate space to hold a wake then our Great British Inns are ideal for a funeral reception venue in which to celebrate their life.

Private Functions

Our elegant and stylish Inns have many private areas accommodating groups from 6 to 200. We will ensure a private wake as you and other guests will have these areas to yourselves. We will do all we can to make your event extra special and can assist with as much or as little of the arrangements as you would like. Whether you would like, a Reception with drinks and Canapes, a hot or cold Buffet or even a Private Dinner, we are on hand to discuss your requirements with you.

We are renowned for exceptional food produced by our kitchen team. Dishes are created to the highest standards and our food is homemade and locally sourced. Whatever the style of your reception, we have a variety of different menus, whether you’re looking for the traditional or something more informal. We are extremely flexible and can accommodate most requests. We also have a TV screen available for a slide show.

Christenings and Baby showers

Whether you are planning a traditional church christening and are looking for the reception venue or you would like to hold a naming ceremony and reception on one place, Great British Inns can offer you a choice of options for the special day.

Great British Inns provides the perfect christening venue for up to 150 guests, with plenty of outdoor space for children to stretch their legs in our spacious gardens or to put a marquee.

Relax and enjoy your christening party in one of our inns. Christening parties and celebrations are essentially times when family and close friends get together. A party thrown to celebrate the occasion will probably have one of the widest age ranges, from the baby to the grandparents. And usually for mothers it’s a stressful time, let us take care of everything! Wonderful Food, beautiful and friendly environment and outstanding service, we will make sure your celebration goes down perfectly!

Few life events can compare to the joy of welcoming a new baby into the family. A special time for everyone concerned, a Baby Shower or Christening can be the perfect way to introduce a little one to the world and we would love to help you create a special welcome.

For a baby shower; celebrate the imminent arrival in style and spoil the mother-to-be with a baby shower Afternoon Tea, a buffet or a meal from our main menu. We can cater for small gatherings to groups of up to 150 guests, providing you with the perfect opportunity to celebrate with all your family and friends.

Great British Inns is committed to providing the highest standards of customer service. As such we do not believe in a one size fits all’ approach to delegate packages. All our rates are bespoke and personally designed to suit your budget and exact requirements. We have listed popular packages in our delegate rate sheet. If you prefer a different or totally bespoke package, please speak to one of our organisers who will be glad to help you.

We can accommodate from 6 to 150 delegates Our Inns offer lots of private areas for your requirements. Nothing is too much trouble.
